FASTag is a prepaid RFID sticker mandated under Rule 138A of CMVR for all four-wheelers on National Highways. Managed by NPCI & NHAI (IHMCL) under the Ministry's oversight. Vehicles without an active FASTag pay double toll in the FASTag lane.
